How do i change my name?

you mean in CS?

just get in the options and change name!

if you mean during the game:
then type "name" in the console followed by the name you choose (note: use no spaces in the name, it won't work)

On the main menu, go to Options, and type in your desired name in the "Nick" (nickname) field. In game, you can change your name by typing in name "New Name" in the console (accessed by pressing ~, the key to the left of the 1 key).

Example: open console (~); type name "Any Name You Want"; Player changed name to Any Name You Want.

Note: This does allow you to use a space in your name, but only if you surround the name with quotations ("name"). If you simply type name NewName, it will not permit spaces.

I suggest you to change the name in the options menu bacause name changes ingame won't be saved for long time. You will lose your new name after every map change, etc.
