Ok, so I think I know why CS2D isn't working on my Vista but i'm still not quite sure. Could it be because of my Direct X version? I know on the FAQ it says to "Have the latest version of Direct X". I have direct X 10, but I heard that 10 isn't compatible with most games, and especially with Vista. So does anyone know if I should downgrade my Direct X to 9?

PS: try to update your gfx driver to the latest vista-compatible version

You can have dx10, but your videocard might not support it.
You can try install dx9 and try if CS2D works then.

blitzbasic uses directx 7, so everything higher should be fine
