Ok in your opinion what are the overall best gun(s) in most situations

For autos I can't decide between ak-47 and m4A1, ak-47 are in the all out shooting games, which leads me to believe they are the best auto. Maybe even p90?

Secondary, deagle or elite?

obviously gear is the max armor and the HE grenade

sorry for the noob questions, but thanks for your input

depends on ur prefered location from the enemy

AK/M4 are good for longer distant
Mac10 and the P90 are good for a closer range

AK are only available to Terrorists and the M4 are only available to CTs

For secondaries, deagle is for the more advanced players since it has a relatively low clip (7/35) while the Elite has considerably more, however, 4 hits from a deagle will kill the enemy while the elite takes a little more. Costwise, deagle is only 600 while the elite is around 1000

my prefered gear

full armor, HE Grenade, MAC10, and usually just the usp/glock that i'm assigned

yea i figured the deagle was best.

Ok im gonna have to test out the mac 10 since you seem to think highly of it

Mac10 and Deagle are the best weapons in this version.
But I like to play with AK-47/Glock and M4A1/USP.

The weapons depends in the position you are. Like another person said before me the P90 Mac10 ... are good in short range and AK47 +m4a1 are good at long range.

well, yeah, i did say that, but that actually applies more to CS than CS2D

any weapon in CS2D will go all the way to the end of the map if there are no obstacles while the weapons in CS will decrease in power as the distance furthers, the SMGs in CS2D are based on the damage done in a very close range, the only advantages smgs have over rifles are that they have the highest rate of fire, while dealing just a little less damage

i think ACID clan has made a complete weapon chart, u can search for it on the |K| forums

I like AK47 when CT on de_bridge.
And when I am T I still think AK47 is the best, lol.

Well lol, I haven't played any other default map.
de_cs2d I haven't played for some years.
And I probably never will.

de_bridge is the best, from my point of view.
That's the best skill map, thanks to Inarie for making that map.

I think the isn't a best map in CS2D and in any CS ... it depends on how it's created and all... i think in CS 1.6 and CS:S de_dust2 is the best map because it has space for CT and T and it's balanced... so i dunno what other people thinks.

i dont see how much skill u need for de_bridge, the only thing u can do skilled is hope that they dont protect their flank and u go down the water, but thats basically it

At the beginning of a normal game that I enter, I'm only able to afford an AK and a HE. So I press:

Space Bar [to bring the buy menu up]
4 + 1 [AK47]
Space Bar [again]
8 + 4 [HE]
Alt x3 [Primary ammo]

Once I have over $4000, and I have died and lost all my equipment, I do this:

Space Bar [to bring the buy menu up]
8 + 4 [HE]
Space Bar [again]
8 + 8 [Flare]
Space Bar [again]
4 + 1 [AK47]
Space Bar [again]
8 + 2 [Kevlar and helmet]
Alt x3 [Primary ammo]

If I have a flare, I run around with that in my hand. If I don't have a flare but I have a HE, I hold that. If I have none of those, I just run around with an AK.

I like new custom maps best of all.

Well my best gear is ak47, colt=m4a1, and gsg31.
Usp is good for taking out laggers.

I don't see how you could argue that they're the best maps, they're both really unfair to play on, and straightforward. On bridge, it's easy to just HE spam on either side, especially with CT. While on lavagiant, just whip out an awp and start blind shooting.

Not all guns reach to the end of the map, guns like Mac 10 or TMP reach only a certain amount, probably about 1-1.5 screens far. Including the fact that they're both really inaccurate at such distances, it's not recommended to be used for shooting that far anyway.
A Glock could outshoot a Mac 10 if you shoot from far away enough, and make sure you keep the large space of distance in between.

My favorite maps are probably de_dust2, cs_assault, or de_dust1, seeing as they're all pretty fair for either side.
I don't think there's a "best" map though.

ooo, never tested that, but i knw that how ever far, the guns will do the same amount of damage

and yes, MAC10 isnt the ideal weapon to go long distance, but its deadly when playing a CQ game
