I want to use a usb joypad for movement with my left hand, but when i chose controls in cs2d options in game, the game is not recognizing the joypad's up down left and right movement for player movement. Is there anything else i can do?

Gamepads are not supported by CS2D and there is no plan to change that because it makes no sense to play with inferior input devices when you can have a mouse and keyboard setup (don't argue with me - this is the only truth. period.)

There's software which maps gamepad input to keyboard keys (and even mouse) though. I never tried it but it should work with CS2D as well. At least the keyboard stuff. Not sure how well the mouse thing would work.
