Hello guys, i'm actually having a problem with my USGN since February.
This didn't happen before but
When i try joining a server with my USGN Logged in it gets stuck in "Verifying USGN Login" forever, the only way to join the server is without the USGN and i can't access my moderator rank anymore..
Is there a solution?

My USGN is perfectly logged in, none uses it idk why this is happening
it didn't use to happen.
But it seems i can only join low ping servers, but not servers that are hosted in europe or far away.

My idea with better grammar:

Replace the usgn.dat (with a new one (redownload cs2d)) inside the sys folder

Otherwise you can reinstall CS2D and check if the problem is in CS2D, if CS2D was the problem then copy your data from the previous CS2D install.
If reinstalling didn't help then check with different WIFI connections.

Otherwise it might be your firewall blocking the connection.
Have you reinstalled windows lately?
What have changed since you last played?
Have you tried using a restore point?

Well, seems nothing is working

Firewall is disabled
I used restore point before but nothing
Maybe it's because i'm using my cellphone as internet for the pc?

Everything with the local setup (usgn.dat and firewall rules) must be fine, otherwise the login itself wouldn't work. All you do on client side is simply logging in with your account. The rest of the verification happens on the server.

That you're using your phone for internet is a very interesting point though. It totally depends on how your phone carrier's mobile internet works. If you do not have a static IP but an IP which changes all the time, then you're screwed because the verification is IP address based and won't work then.
You can easily test that by calling
http://www.unrealsoftware.de/usgn.php?s=ip
several times (maybe with a few minutes delay inbetween). If the IP changes then the U.S.G.N. verification won't work with your connection.
If it doesn't change it may still be related to the way how the carrier handles mobile connections. It's also very possible that the same IP is used for many devices which could also lead to problems.

Do you have any other way to connect? If yes, you should try it. Btw: A phone connection isn't really suitable for playing fast multiplayer games because it adds a significant amount of latency, giving you a big disadvantage.

Thanks DC, Yeah my IP is not static, maybe that's the problem.
Maybe logging out and in the website, and then trying to join the server with the exact same IP would work?. I'll try it.

And no i don't have other way to connect

No, logging in at the website is not checked by the U.S.G.N. masterserver for the player verification because it's kind of unrelated. It only checks your in-game login. So doing anything at the website won't help at all.

What do you mean with "not static"? It doesn't need to be always the same, it just needs to stay the same during one game session. It's weird anyway because I would guess that you get a timeout as soon as your IP changes while playing.

Nope it didn't work i meant it changes everytime i turn off Data or restart the cellphone.

Before: 186.141.19*.***
After restarting: 186.143.13*.***

No solution for this i guess?

@user zazz: This should NOT be a problem then because you're not turning your cellphone off while you're playing CS2D over its connection. At least I hope so.

Still the mobile connection MIGHT - for some reason I don't understand - cause problems.
