Please note that the server is already connected over the net even if you don't see it in the list. Normally your server is listed in LAN section which means it's reachable over LAN as well (for those who host it in a dedicated software) so you're fine.

I second this. If someone wants a free server; they'll find the 5 threads about the same current free hosting.

There's a Connect to IP button in the serverlist window. If you click that it'll prompt you with the IP and port. I don't exactly remember how it looks (can't check atm either) but if its a single box then enter your IP and port in this format

Make sure your public IP and not your router/network IP.

What I can understand from this post is that he wants a 24/7 free server. Apologize for being misunderstood but he needs to fix his English to make people understand his post clearly.

The server list does not display his server.

That was pretty easy to read. It did not say "giv mi frie servr pls" - and thus seeing "I host servers" when clearly the OP is not asking that is annoying (which happens in EVERY thread).

We're not saying his hosting is bad, or that is is wrong to host free servers. We're saying we don't want to read it in every thread seeing as he himself has like 5 million threads about it AND it's in his signature!

Sometimes when you host from your own PC with a dedicated server you cannot view it in the list. Try connecting to the IP and port directly and see if you can join. Once joined, simply add it to your favourites and this should be solved.

You should also ask a friend who is on a different Internet connection to see if he can view the server, if he can see and connect to it and you can also connect then there shouldn't be a problem.

I really do appreciate guys like xirot, offering free services. But yea, having just a thread about your service and not reminding about it on every topic is the way each caracter in the (I offer my service) world should do but as I said, what xirot is doing, giving free servers is a cool thing for the cs2d comunity
