remember some years ago when you had to create your account in usgn.de, then DC change it , that we can create our account in this forum, and it will work in the game too, so i want to know :

when this happened? in what year and which version of cs2d?

abyssus) can be used in all unrealsoftware games that supports U.S.G.N connectivity

I think he asking about the usgn.de and us.de account merge, probably between 2012-2013 when it was being merged if I'm not wrong.

It definitely wasn't 2013. It was earlier. I think it was even before 2012. I didn't find news about it at the news section...

Maybe there is a thread or something which contains the date...

So probably 2010.

U.S.G.N. switched to UnrealSoftware.de-accounts
August 2010. CS2D version was 0.1.1.7 at this time, 0.1.1.8 has been released a few days later though.

Yep, I was searching at the news section too, but didn't found any about the account merge, so I only random-ing guess.

I personally think the current system works great. To have two different user databases that takes more server workload however it'd make things a bit more secure but hell security is not everything but performance is.
