mafia_man: Well I don´t think that´s the actual reason. My uploads are downloaded several times a week. It doesn´t mean that many people play it but there are many interested players
You should correct your thread title by the way.

You upload content to the website and from there it will become publicly available to anyone for download. I don't know if DC plans to make private uploads yet but maybe that'll become a reality someday if enough users want it badly. For now you can only upload public content unfortunately.One way you could keep private files is by storing them in Dropbox or similar cloud storage services that way you could easily log in and fetch your files and store them in your new PC or such.
KimKat: I'm pretty sure that he just has a typo in his topic and he is actually asking why nobody (or only few) people are downloading his stuff. For Unreal Software it makes no sense to allow private uploads (this is a public gaming community not a private file upload platform) therefore this is a thing which is very unlikely to happen.@
pirate of island: you actually have 104 downloads already for 4 files and your oldest file (which has over 80 downloads!) is not even 2 months online. I think that these are pretty good values! 
You probably won´t get it with only uploading stuff to the file archive.
KimKat: You should think as much as you write.It's so obvious that he didn't mean it this way, why the hell would he upload them if he doesn't want people to download them?
