I remember watching a comet with my girlfriend about five years back. A spectacular moment. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of said comet.

I will definitely be waiting for this, the mysteries of outer space burning up in our atmosphere? Wouldn't miss it for the world.

There has been quite some comets going past the earth over the years. I reckon another comet named Lovejoy was spotted around 2011 in december aswell, so yea this is quite a interesting topic. I wonder how many comets will pass by earth without touching earth that's probably the biggest question. Comets are mostly always surprising to see though.

I decided to revive this thread because, well, this Comet is supposedly going to be watchable at the end of this month until/or at Janaruy 2014, and perhaps lost of people missed this thread back in February.

I have my fingers crossed that it wont get burn by the Sun and we all can experience having a (not too) bright night sky in December!

Same here, was waiting for it since the start of the fucking year... even when it faded there was still hope for it, but not anymore...
