Just sharing this; debate me if you want to, I will be happy to do it; prove me that life has a point.

Now that you think about it, we all become old. Helpless. Useless. A burden for those who care about us, or at least pretend to care. All that we do is lost; or lives on, but without us. We can't move ourselves, we can't feed ourselves, we go insane.
And then we die; without knowing what will happen to us, where we will go.
We don't manage to do what we want to do, we don't manage to create what we want to create (all that we want to do, all that we want to create). And if we do - life loses its meaning. No point to live; too scared to die.

Suicide isn't a sin; it is a way of preventing yourself from commiting more sins.
How did religion get here? has written
If we base ourselves on religion, suicide can be excused, as the church claims that God has power over all and everything. And everything that happens - is God's will. Therefore, suicide is God's will; while the church (and the Bible) says otherwise, otherwise as in, suicide is a sin.
But what if... has written
...if we base this idea on the ideals of deism, God has no or little power over what happens with us after birth.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that he doesn't care about what we do with our life.

But Alex, how can we know on what we should base it?
Why am I including this? has written
The ability to comprehend and make decisions is one of the greatest things God has given us. Decisions can be different. I have chosen deism as my form of faith, as I don't take church as the representative of God, and the Bible as the word of God.
Now I know why I have included this; in response to Yates' question, I said that God has given us the ability to make decisions. Therefore, we know (or can guess) what we should base our ideas on.
