Videos aren't supposed to be made in a hurry, though. I am working on a small map for showing a bit of the light engine, i hope it will be good enough.

How do you showcase the light engine?

1. Open a random map
2. Add lighting
3. Record a playsession on it
4. Remove the parts in the recording where the game crashes
5. Upload

I am not planning to do something 'good enough', i plan to do my best when it comes to making something serious. We are talking about the CS2D Official Trailer here, not some random crappy clan video.
And random maps are not what i am looking for, i have more ideas than only showing the lighting engine in this scene.

P.S.: The game rarely crashes here, so the fourth part is also unnecessary.

user Alistaire, it's a matter of fact, not optimism. Except from the Map Editor (when working with huge loads of lightning), recording gameplay would rarely crash or lag here.

Anyway, i got a video to make and i won't lose my time here anymore.

Crosshairs: make cursor.bmp transparent
HUDs: New Game -> More Settings -> mp_hud = 0
