I pre-purchased Counter-Strike: Global Offence the other day and it's the 14th, and I can't access the beta, anyone else have this issue?

However, if you are (or were) a competetive CSS player like me, you will find no big differences in playstyle; Since all additional equipment and overdriven weapons (just like the Sawed-Off) will be banned on ESL leagueplay.

Oh, good, then i may try it out when i get the money. I am not a CS competitive player, i never really enjoyed playing Counter-Strike in public servers, actually; as you said, it's "not my game". But gaming experience with friends in Counter-Strike never disappointed me.

I agree about the price, it's really way cheaper than i expected, but i am actually saving money for new computer parts, so every dollar counts.

I just gotta say the AWP is inhuman. 1 hit kill from any distance and the fact that I suck at sniping is pissing me off! I sure hope they add more stuff to make the AWP harder to aim.

@user Aura: Have you tried restarting your PC before? Maybe the game haven't gone out worldwide yet. Over here is fine now. Had fun playing with bots.

I hope you know that the AWP was always an inhuman weapon. The AWP killed anything, not shot in the foot, from 250ft. distance instantly. However, it requires you to stay still and in competetive play this weapon is usually only picked up by 1 or 2 of your teammembers out of 5.
