CS2D General Lag

10 replies Hello, version before this one(0.9) current(1.2) i didn't hawed lag but now when i enter server(green ping) i have lag.. everyone else have like 20,30,40 to 100 latency but my jumps from 300 to above. I turned of firewall i installed game booster 3, turned priority to high and nothing helps?
I have 1.1Mb/s download speed for files etc. I have no problem with video lags(example youtube). So i was wondering maybe its because i use wireless connection trough router. I share internet with my brother. I asked him to play cs2d with me so i can see does it lags for him. He heaved like 43fps and maybe little slow downs, and his ping is about 80, but my 400-500. Anyone could help this problem appears from new version 0.1.2 beta i'm not saying that 0.1.2 beta has ruined because all other play well on servers with no lag. Does it something in Firewall? By the way i have dynamic IP (DHCP) if that something means? Ok thanks bye 
Delete every useless piece of crap from your computer. @Yates what you mean? All other games? If they are useless crap then yes. Update graphics drivers

Defragment
Turn off unimportant shit running in the background
Lower graphics settings in CS2D SQ Moderator

Well, nothing should have really changed from last version to ruin performance at default options. If you have light options on than you should see some fps drop download CCleaner and use! What's with the weird version numbers? The latency (ping) isn't really something the new release would affect. But yeah, I guess you can try following the above advice - maybe try and unload your internet traffic (do less shit on the internet while playing). Ok thanks for advice all. I will clean internet cookies,history,some games and defrag
