I always created a server, always worked perfectly.
but now that I got a notebook, my servers are not found by anyone, no one enters.

I tried to open port 36963, it did not work.
the problem is that when I write 'server' in the console, it appears that my ip is:
0.0.0.0:36963. that's weird. can you help me? grateful.

If you use router, configure a valid IP address in the router settings. Also open "cmd.exe" and enter "ipconfig" there. Does "ipconfig" command still report IP address 0.0.0.0?

Connect to your router, enter login and password (if not changed yet, it's most likely to be "admin" as login and "admin" as password). Google will help you to find further instructions, it depends a lot on your router model.

If "ipconfig" reports normal IP then there is something with your server. Did you turn your firewall off?

you shouldn't care too much about what CS2D itself displays as IP because it's quite normal that it only shows 0.0.0.0. CS2D itself doesn't really try to determine your internet IP because.. well.. it simply doesn't need to know it! it's only relevant for people who want to join your server.

so the standard FAQ stuff is what you should do.

I bet that it is your router. the port 36963 is probably forwarded to another PC in your network and not to your laptop. so all join attempts go to the wrong PC.
