Megaupload has been taken down by the goverment becuase of constant uploads by users of copyrighted work

this is a setback to the community as many people upload there files there

Agreed dropbox is far superior. Megaupload has the freaking annoying wait 50 seconds before downloading crud...

I never liked megavideo anyway, it loads slow, has bad a/v quality and as if it wasn't enough the design is bulky and kinda repulsive. Oh and the 72 min. wait time.

I agree with most users around here. there are still tons of other sites with equal or even better service so this shouldn't be a huge problem.

I've been using Dropbox for 2 years or more and it's proven to be a really good file-sharing service, without shitty timers and optimal speed. I recommend it to all of you.

lol files are gone anyways, servers are raided, and some owners arrested...

That ip is hosted by http://www.worldstream.nl --> which is hosted in the Netherlands.

If MegaUpload were to be revived they would be hosted in Hong Kong with their own computers.
