i just like the pistol because its a more sneaky weapon than an AK
thats why i do not get close but the pistol arent that bad at all me like it to but on first place the spear 
Of the two primitive ones, I pick the slingshot. It is far easier to use than the spear: If you have enough pebbles, you can just hold the fire button down, whereas if you run out of spears, er, of the spear, you must quickly open the inventory and combine another stick with another stone. So the spear in fact consists of two ammonation types, if you want to go hunting for a while. And one has to keep an eye on both.
Of course the spear kills faster - that is undoubtable. But also the slingshot is not weak, and I consider the comfort of usage important.
If you could store several spears as in Stranded 2, I would have chosen them.
I'm sorry that this post which's gist is rather simple sounds so complicated. I did my best.
