Simple obstacles with shadow... nothing hard to do.

You could also copy the shadowmap and use sprites with "shadow". This way the sprites will be bright or dark depending on shadow settings, so they are +/- real shadows.

Download it and open it in the editor. Watch the boxes at the spawnpoint, that's how I make shadowmaps.
