In the old map editor, how do you paste entities? I press copy and then how do you paste? i tryed ctrl+c but it did't work...

Ctrl+C is the hotkey for Copying.
For pasting, you press Ctrl+V.
Btw this is a more general question, so I'll move this into off topic.

Sure your question was not general - but the answer was;
Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V are the hotkeys for copying and pasteing files and other objects as good as everywhere:
In the windows explorer, in other file browsers, graphics software or whatever you can imagine.

copy: ctrl+c
paste: crtl+v
is how it works though.

I change the topic and put it back to the cs2d forum.

and by the way: please notice that the NEW map editor does not support copy&paste for entities yet!
