Direct X is up to date And yes the blank box does dissapear Soz scratch the above info.. thats my home comp

And Latest version of Direct X sounds like it SHOULD run it. I'm not completely positive, but that setup ought to be good enough to run cs2d.
So, I have no clue why it won't and how to fix it.
I have one idea: Test you Direct3D. Go to Start > Run > "dxdiag".
This will open your direct X diagnostic tool. Look for any errors. Go to the Video tab, and select "Test Direct3d". That's about the only thing i can think of at the moment.
