CSS/HL 2 is a 2006 game

That's the worst argument ever, both games exists: CS:S and CS1.6, it doesn't even matters when they were created.

Before starting a discussion about old/new games get some arguments and info.

You're right, but you can download Game Booster 2.1 and RivaTuner, and then download the low graphics patch to GM
This will make you run the game even if your computer is really bad, and with a good FPS rate.

Btw, this screen is the only one with a kind of good graphics, now, show me a default one, and i still prefer this:

Oh, i played that when it was Go-Mod 1.0. Lot of bugs. But alot of fun!

Oh, i played that when it was Go-Mod 1.0. Lot of bugs. But alot of fun!


Every single sandbox game has lots of Bugs, even Minecraft doesn't escape from them...
Garry's Mod awesome bug:
Plant Axis on all joints of the character and let him fly, smash, and kill you.

Anyways, it's not that close to the epic Source sandbox game, Garry's Mod.

Go-Mod has no:
1. Shading
2. Physics
3. Bumpmapping;
4. And ragdolls.

But even though those are missing, it's still an awesome mod for gamers that likes Half Life 1.

Source players shouldn't even bother this thread cause their likes are different than ours.

Also, it's not possible to add bumpmapping and new shaders without modifying "opengl32.dll". On Steam you will get a VAC ban on secured servers for modifying that dll.

Go-Mod was originally made for letting NPCs fight against eachother, because of the community we added spawnstuff and so on... it wasn't supposed to be a GMod rippoff or a GMod port.

Go-Mod 3.1 had brushmodel-physics.
They were officialy cut out in Go-Mod 3.2 because you were not able to grab them with the Physgun and they often stucked in the floor.

First, CS v1.6 is made in 2002, HL2 and CSS in 2004.
Second, yes we are in 2011. But thats no reason why oldschool games are bad. I play today tetris on my old NES...

Go-Mod is not Garry's Mod. Its not a copy. Its just a great sandbox mod for Half-Life.

If you dont like Half-Life, sell your steam account and shut up.
