CS2D General I can't find my maps

Greetings!
Well, I can't find my maps that I've downloaded from many rooms and some I made myself in my Counter Strike 2D Map Folder. In the game, I can open and play it, however, if I looked into the Map Folder, there's no downloaded files there. Just regular maps like de_dust, de_dust2, etc.
When I copied the files from my laptop (Windows Vista) and transferred into my PC (Windows XP), I couldn't find the files both in the game or in the map folder.
So guys, have you ever encountered problems like me? Or maybe you have solutions?
I've downloaded the latest version to my PC and Laptop, but still, I can't find the map that I made/downloaded from my laptop.

Thats impossible to play Maps without the Files.
Are they really in /Counter-Strike 2D/maps ? DC Admin

you probably didn't extract the game (used the zip file) and now all the stuff has been extracted to a temporary folder only.
or you installed/extracted to "C:\program files" which leads to this problem as well You must save the maps, I think... they should be in the CS2D folder you have made somewhere. If the CS2D folder is missing due to I don't know (HDD problems in Vista/7?) then perhaps re-downloading CS2D should work. 
Login as a administrator and then perhaps the files you download will stay there on the HDD and as you use your PC at a later time it'll still be there. I think that'll work but it's not guaranteed. Dc said it
If you run your game from a ZIP file your maps don't gonna be saved(in the ZIP) So easily extrect it anywhere else(desktop,disc C: or D:)
And my noob friend had a problem he tough he cant find the downloaded maps afterward's he detected he had 2times installed CS2D on C: and

Yeah DC said it, my bad. Playing from a ZIP seems rather funny, I never did it. Shouldn't it like... create a $ZIP/RAR kind of a folder within the Temp folder somewhere and contain the saved map? I mean the map gotta be saved somewhere though, it can't just disappear, can it? 
Search it. Go to C: or then just search.
If you know the name and you actually downloaded it you should be able to find it.
