You need to extract the tool into your CS2D folder and keep your gfx and map folders.Just make sure the tool is in the CS2D folder and you still have your gfx and maps,then it should work.

I noticed that, when playing de_bluandred (with the light 'n shadows), there were some problems with obstacles. The light doesn't go through obstacles (might be good if it would since obstacles are often used for e.g. windows), nor does shadow, but since weapon and player images are drawn over the obstacles, this is the result:

And btw, the reason is probably because of the way that it loads the map. Remember that he actually figuired out hw to load the maps without DC's help, so he cannot be perfect. In a next version he will probably fix this

But I don't think glass has a shadow

The tool has this feature to ignore obstacles for light.
Just I forgot to add selection button.

The reason most maps will not show is because they have 2 dots in them. So any maps that have version numbers in them won't be displayed.
This will be fixed in next version.

EDIT: Not just 2 dots, i meant it as in a map with more than 1 dot

There are everything that I noticed for today:

At 1st: Lags:
> • This tool lags really hard... This is the hell! I have to close everything at my PC that to work with this tool (I have a very good computer and big programs like PhotoShop for example are very fast but your tool... that's makes me mad..)

At 2nd: Bugs:
> • If I made the Generating 1 time, I can't do it 2nd time! I always have to reload the tool!
> • The tool doesn't understand what is obstacle (as have already told us Banaan) and what is floor (i mean if 2 different floors (dirt & step, for example) are near, and I create a light at the dirt, tool doesn't understand that floor(step) is the floor too and choose it like a wall (if you didn't understand me I can add a screenshot)!

At 3rd: Ideas:
> • Add some more options like "Edit Lightblub", "Cut Lightblub", "Copy Lightblub" and etc.

The tool doesn't lag that much. It is tiny, it can actually be loaded into the memory and run with very few side effects.
Apart from the fact that generating bitmaps isnt very easy, if the map is big, then yes, it is going to lag.

If your computer has to have everything else just to run it, then your computer is absolute shit and you need to get a new one. And wtf do you mean by 'reload' the tool?? It makes no sense! Editting lightbulb = dellete bulb, put new one in it's place. Simple, easy. he added a thing for the obstacles but he didnt make a button for it! It should be released in the next version.

But i like the ideas
