Well, tough luck.

All you can do is talk to whoever hosts the server. If they decide to not take them down, you can do a little negative publicity thing (if it's a clan or community).

But, other than that, there isn't anything you do.

Brand your maps by placing a message on the outside of the map.

I sometimes place a message at the co-ordinates of 50000x50000 or 10000x10000.

Well, this is not possible. If your map is too good, I think your map will be soon be hosted on more servers, because others like it, too. In the moment someone joined your server, this map has already transmitted to him. This means, every player that joined your server has your map on his PC and could host a server with that map.

Now after this map has been seen on other servers, now even more players have downloaded this map, and maybe these players will host servers. Face it: Your map is just too good for CS2D. Thus, preventing the spread now is impossible.

Marijuana's suggestion won't help to prevent the spread of the map. You only will be able to prove it's yours but you can't prevent downloading.

There are only two ways to successfully prevent the spread of your maps:
1. Only make bad maps that suck! Then you can be 100% sure that no player will ever host a server with that crappy maps!
2. Never ever show your good maps anywhere! Every person that downloads your map is one person too much. You can trust noone.
