Sorry, I don't mod... yet, but do I have some ideas for s2 (or s3 if it is decided to make it).
1. How about a skill called Harvesting, for when you harvest crops, tree materials, rock materials, animal materials, etc.?
2. How about making the build item click (right click to use hammer + material to build a structure) an auto click like the use tool on tree/plant/rock/etc? Some of the bigger structures are a real pain to click each and every item to build.
3. How about the ability to capture a parrot and train it to collect vines and leaves for you?
4. How about the ability to capture a onkey and train it to collect seeds/berries/cocoafruit/etc?
5. How about a green/red zone to know where to plant plants? It is a real pain not knowing where to plant and not being able to plant in a straight line. Maybe a "snap to grid" option as well.
6. How about using the gold/pearls to buy items from the purchase menu for the drop shipments? Maybe even a make coin option for the gold.
7. How about a (various) trainer(s) that can train you in (various) skill(s). Maybe even use the barter system as payment.
8. How about finding seeds for the trees so you can plant a tree farm for a never ending supply of tree materials?
9. How about silver deposits to make silver coins to purchase items on the purchase menu?
10. How about a stone/iron/silver mine structure for those long scenarios where you might run out of materials?
That should be enough for now. I will jot down some more as they come to me. Thank you very much for such an addictive game. I have not been able to stop playing it for days. I love it.
