I'd like to complain to the forum owner about one of your moderators.

I recently made a post in a "Suggestions V3" thread, a suggestion, which stated - "Add the diagonal speedbug from 0.1.0.4".

This is the message I got from"TheKilledDeath" in return..

Please follow the rules and don't write needless or inappropriate posts!

I'm quite baffled and why my post was regarded as "spam". The topic clearly says "Suggestions V3", All I did was post a suggestion, which was of course relevant to the topic.

I've read the forum rules carefully and I have come to the conclusion that I am definitely NOT breaking ANY rules listed.

Once again, I don't see how my post was "needless", or "inappropriate". All I was doing was contributing to the relevant topic with my suggestion. And I get a warning in result.

Do I get an explanation on why this happened?

Because it was repeated over and over again by the same people, and DC already made his statements about this issue. so yes, that post you made in that topic was unnecesary and could be considered spam considering how much times you and others have mentioned it.

furthermore, creating a topic for a personal issue is not the way to go. PM'ing DC is a more appropiate way.

DC has said many many many times that do you suggestions to lab-part, which is currently not active due mass amounts of suggestions.

So TKD was right and you should read some rules and stuff.

look at the lab suggestion, its closed because of people posting sh*t, DC receive many of this suggestion and have to remove thousand of the this, otherwise, version of cs2d 0.1.1.4 is outdated, everyone started play the latest version.

i agree with anon, he didnt knew that he shouldnt made thread about suggestions, i didnt knew that till now, DC please add this to rules "No suggestions or bug report threads", because new players dont know that and they get spam mark...

Well, if you actually READ my original post, you will see that I HAVE read over and over these forum rules. Please list which of those rules I am breaking.

I only posted a suggestion in the "suggestion" thread. How was I supposed to know I was doing wrong. It is a forum, you're supposed to post on forums aren't you?

Was I going off-topic? No, I wasn't. In fact there is nothing that leads to my wrong doing. Unless the forum admin can point something out, and let me reply to his comment without closing the topic..

I've asked you again and again to tell me how it's a "Spam rule violation". It makes no sense, I'm not breaking any of the rules listed.

And why should this thread be trashed? I'm trying to be sensible here by asking why my suggestion in the suggestion thread was regarded as flame. If you have no positive input that can help me Blazzing, I suggest you don't post in this thread anymore.

Still waiting for a forum admin to explain to me what's going on..

If moderator closed tread , it means that it should be like that.

the action of the moderator was appropriate.

you now might complain that the lab is closed but I already mentioned several times in different threads that I don't accept suggestions at the moment and that people have to wait until the lab is available again.

moreover please note:
• the CS2D forum is not the right place for such a complaint since the complaint is not about CS2D but the forum/moderators. your thread has been moved.
• a single spam violation is no problem and has no consequences (only if you collect several in a short time)

edit:
in addition the thing you suggested has been discussed already (probably several times) and I clearly stated several times that this is never ever going to happen. these unnecessary repetitions are simply annoying as hell.

However I simply closed this thread instantly as I noticed it and gave the creator a spam violation. I didn't want to give everyone a violation because it wasn't necessary in my eyes.

Maybe TKD read this thread just when An0n posted and noticed that his suggestion is an old suggestion which has already been made and declined - and therefore he gave him a spam violation. which is correct in my opinion.

suggesting to make things like in 0.1.0.4 is the worst idea you can have anyway (besides suggesting voice chat). it has been suggested and declined so freaking often that I want to puke and afterwards kill the one who suggested it whenever I read it.

In addition there is an unwritten rule that nobody wants to know about your leetness, proness or whateverness, and posts about "ADD THIS BUG BECAUSE IT MADE ME A PRO" are posts about proness. So I can't see why this violation wasn't justified.
