Actually they used hex editors to rename cheat engine. It quite easy but I'm going to shut up now!

I'm talking about hex editors, they can change the strings stored in the .exe without running it, but I just tried it and it didn't work. So I should better shut up :p

I don't if you know what you're talking about. I won't go into much detail, but all the speed hacks, laser hacks, flash, smoke hacks, and others were "hexed" in using Hex Workshop.
