If you take an explosive bait and throw it into the middle of a grain field and set it off, a lot of the grains get harvested. Fast.
I also found a silly way to increase your planting skill. You can just plant, kill, grab, get 1 grain, and repeat these steps.
For example, I've never saw a plane in the game 
LOL, also if the grain field was in the middle of an empty space, I'd use the rocket launcher. But its not and I'd accidentally kill all my fruit trees as well.
