I've been toying with this idea for a while now, and i decided to put it forward to you guys to see what you think.

What if, you could tame any animal to be your pet/mount? It could help you fight enemies and it could help in finding certain items (e.g. it could sniff out a certain plant or something) and possibly let you ride it(sort of like the plane and the boats) to get to places quicker.

I am rubbish at modding and scripting, however i am rather good at making maps(though i rely on the 'fill map randomly' tool all the time.) so i would be glad to help with this if someone actually tries it.

And yes, i know it would be very complicated. But, think of it like this, you will be adding a whole new aspect to the game. A whole new way of playing it.

Well? What do you think?

I'm not sure if you know it but taming is already part of the game.

you can tame raptors by throwing raw meat. you can also ride them after taming.

moreover you can tame monkeys with bananas. you can then command them to collect items for you and you can train them to carry stuff. for training you need a monkey school (this building will be unlocked after taming a monkey afair).

other animals can not be tamed though.

Well Kidnap mod has a item called "Amore arrow" which makes any animal it hits tame, that makes taming easier but how do you make something attack other animals?

In Pseudocode That Is. But As Far As s2script goes, I Do Not Know, And Would Like A Push In The Right Direction
