My gmusicbrowser comes up immediately (not even 5 seconds), but that's Linux. iTunes would not work better under Windows because it's made for Mac and its faggotry. If you're using Windows, download Winamp, or even better - foobar2000, it will start as fast as iTunes on your Mac.
