[EngiN33R] Roll the Dice
23 comments Hello everyone,
Since I play TF2 often and on quite a lot of servers, on many I encounter the Roll the Dice SourceMod addon. I know a roll the dice mod was already done in CS2D, but this one is more versatile and configurable.
Features:
Controlled by a say command (!rtd or rtd)
Cooldown after using the command for a configurable amount of time (via the secondsuntilready variable)
Two tables, containing the prizes functions and names in respective order, allow easy customization of prizes
Comes with 9 built-in prizes
For developers and server hosts:
Attention! The script is using a say hook. If you are using other scripts that use say hooks with return 1 in them, please find a workaround, or else one of the scripts will be working incorrectly!
The order of the names in the rtdfuncnames table has to be the same as the order of the functions themselves (in the rtdfuncs table)
The only argument of the functions in the rtdfuncs table is the player ID, no more arguments exist
Thank you and I hope you enjoy using the script as much as I enjoyed writing it
Best wishes,
EngiN33R

It only shows an error in a other Script
so i think it isn't an error from your script...

SilentDash: What exactly didn't work? Any errors? Please let me know so I could perfect it.
P.S. It probably has to do with the buggy Lua parsing on Linux-based servers

Alistaire: Err I wrote it today and didn't release it to anyone but this File Archive just now, and considering this has 0 downloads I don't think it's on any server mate

I lol'd 6 likes and 0 downloads. It looks promising I'll download it and edit this post when I get home.

This script is already in some weird prison thing nah?
Cause screw that prison server. This is much better.
