[EngiN33R] Showcase for 0.1.2.2
17 comments Hi everyone!
This is a collection of simple scripts that demonstrate the functions, commands and features introduced in Counter-Strike 2D version 0.1.2.2.
This is for demonstration and learning purposes. You may reuse parts of this code in your own projects. Crediting me is up to you.
This file contains:
spawnprot.lua - creates a field that protects players for a set amount of seconds from any incoming damage after spawning
greyspec.lua - makes the colour of the player name grey if they're a spectator
chatcolour.lua - type !rc to make your chat rainbow-coloured!
projmayhem.lua - PROJECTILE MAYHEM! Shoot projectiles at wild speeds! You can add your own projectiles. Switch with F3, shoot with F4.
Have fun learning!

Obviously Exactly Myself: If you look at the timestamps inside the scripts you'll see that this was actually done in 35 minutes' time

Don't really get it only because I haven't played cs2d in awhile. But from the screens they look useful only as a reference. I'll need to download it and see what it looks like(if that makes sense :P).

Zurak: The whole script is 35 lines, not counting the comments.
These scripts' purpose is to demonstrate new features. They aren't exactly the most useful ones in-game, but they are hopefully going to be useful as reference.
