Here is a table.
You can use it in mods if you do the following:

Put it in a folder called 'Corvallis5 Made This'
example:
model=gfx/Corvallis5_Made_This/Table.3ds
And put my name as the creator in the credits
If you edit this the rules above still apply.

Constructive criticism please, though I won't be editing this anymore.

Note, the textures where made by DC. The file 'DifferentTexture.wings' is the same model with a different (in my opinion worse) texture. The file 'SameAs3dsFile.wings' is the same file as the .3ds except you can use it for editing, without having to convert the file.

Yes, when using Wings 3D you can also scale the texture, and rotate it to form the object your wanting to color. In your wood texture, you could probably have scaled it alot smaller so that it would look more realistic.

Also, when texturing something that is wood. Always remember to go with the grain. All wood furniture has the grain going lengthwise. The reasoning behind this is because the grain gives the wood it's strength.

So the legs would have the grain going up and down instead of side to side.

Just a tip for future wood textures.


As for me being one of the few who give constructive criticism. I believe that if your going to complain, you should at least point out why. And if you know how, say how to fix it.

I'll send you an example of how I'd modify it, in a PM.

Thanks for your constructive criticism, your one of the few people who can give that around here. Anyways i sent you a PM about the legs, but about the texture I thought it looked a little weird so i did include another file that had a different texture in the download.

Very good, for someone with your level of expertise in a modeling tool.

2 Things I would change, if I were making a table.

#1 I would use a more wood, less varnish in the texture. You currently have it looking a bit... plastic... unless it's supposed to be plastic.

#2 I would probably make the legs stick inwards a little bit. Here they are equal with the edges of the table.
That's not necessarily wrong, but for some reason it just looks... weirder for me.

I wish I could rate this 3/5 stars, but I do Like it.
