i think its a bit confusing. maybe hard iron rod should be removed and iron rod renamed to iron bar? or maybe hard iron rod should be used to make tools instead?

You really only need to remember 4 simple rules:
1. Soft metals are what you mold into other items, using the hammer.
2. Hard items are 'finished' and using in combinations.
3. Make hard metal soft by heating it to red hot in forge then letting it cool (by removing forge fire).
4. Make soft metal hard by heating it to red hot in forge then dousing it with water using clay bucket.

Hey Builder, i had another Idea, I thought if you use torches For light, they really eat up your resources, so i thought you could make a lamp, and in that lamp, you could put in those fireflies (those who glow in the dark), and voila, you have got light...

This is just a suggestion, because i usually get lost in SII - mm when walking around in the dark...(my char. usually doesn't want to sleep pretty much, cuz i don't do anything in the day), and i usually put many torches around my camp, so i would know if im close r not...But as i said, those torches REALLY F**KING EAT UP YOUR RESOURCES!

I was curious as to whether or not you had incorporated the additional adventure scenarios. I've finished the default adventure scenarios but when I go to play yours it doesn't let me enter the portal, nor does it let me read the signs.

Already been done in Jockmo's Bae Mod.

I built 2 forges, but i can't figure out how to put in charcoal. I try hitting use on it like i would to add fuel to the camp fire but it just says "I can't drink from there it's empty. I'm very positive that I built both forges all the way. No missing materials, did the last swing and everything.
It's frustrating because I literally can't progress at all without making some nails.

Edit:
Ugh. I cheated. First I made myself invulnerable beacuse it was the only way i could survive a daily lion attack with almost no skills or weapons.

Then I cheated and gave myself a bunch of nails so I could continue learning the mod while I waited for a response on the forge problem. My treehouse and my storage container won't accept them. Unless nails are required to be used last, that's not working either.

Edit 2: I tried making a new thing to build a forge on like the tip said. After a good while of smacking a small rock with a hammer i'm no closer to being able to play this game

Hmm, I hate to complain but... Is it possible to somehow water my plants with saltwater? If not this is getting impossible. I mean, where do you get fresh water to water your plants if there are no fountains, no wells and almost no rain at all? If I can't get water to water my plants, I can't get berries, fruits and wine much enough to drink and survive. Every game ends to this same deadend...

Oh, and my food still falls through the grill.

Except these two problems I have loved the mod. Keep doing the great job! cookie

If it's telling you "I can't drink from there it's empty" then you didn't do *something* right. Just to double check, here is what happened:
1. You found an empty water rock.
2. You placed a 'Forge Shelter' construction on it (using hammer, found under 'Production' buildings)
3. You 'completed' the Forge Shelter (20 branches/30 leaves if I remember correclty)
4. A message appeared "Hammer the water rock to finish the forge!"
5. You hit the empty water rock (with the forge shelter on top of it) with the hammer.
6. A coal pile\anvil appeared.

And diagram time:

With an old youtube video (make sure annotations are on) that shows you what *should* happen:

Perhaps try a lower difficulty level?

Probably the wrong type of nail. There are two versions of each metal object, the 'unforged' (made out of soft metal) and the 'forged' version.

Leaves + stone. Been in S2 since the beginning. Make some clay bottles, combine leaves with either the bottles or the stone, tada. Fresh water in bottles.

If it's not too much trouble, please .zip up your Stranded 2 installation, upload it to filedropper\filefront\somewhere and PM me the link.

I'm starting to think the grill problems is related to game settings or what map you're playing or phase of the moon or some other random variable. What would really help is this:

If anyone has a piece of food reliably fall through the grill (ie; 9/10 times it falls through) then download FRAPS, take a video of it (that way I see exactly where you're aiming, the map you're on, position of the grill on terrain, the path the food takes through the air, how the collision is handled, ect), compress it to a manageable size, and PM me it.

Okay, how do you throw water on a forge? I left clicked with every water container i have. Bottle, clay, liver. All I did was loose all my water and my nails are still soft metal.

Hello there, guys.

I've been tracking this topic for a while, and i've just decided to join you ;]

So... At first, i'd like to say that you have done a great job. I've downloaded the massive mod from the page 43, and I was amazed. Of course, I got the clay bucket bug, but hell...

So, is the thing that Ethan posted a full, patched version of mmod? Great!

And if so, I think you should rename the topic and add a download link to this file here ;]

I'll check it out.

Oh, and by the way... If my grammar is not right or something, I apologise - I'm Polish, and im 14yo.
