Well, it's not that hard! Just do what the Pirate asks you to do.
I did read the letter he left me, but I don't find anything that looks like a hat, I have also knocked down all the trees so if the tress made something look like a hat there is no more trees

The parrot is the colorful bird.
When it lands go up to it, but not too close and use a net to catch it.
It will not show up in the inventory but it is there.

A: two pieces of flint. Put them in your hand and attack the fire place
B:Light it by combining bark with branch
C: On the off chance you have one a torch can also be used as an attacking to light weapon.
2: You need to of built a fireplace (I think)
3: Sorry no idea on that one.
The storage monkeys (a.k.a. transport monkeys) follow you atomatically. Press E near then to give them stuff.

With the stuff you search for something. If you find it, the Pirate will show up.

Morlan V Hellstorm:
1. You can either combine a branch with a bark or attack the fireplace with 2 firestones.
2. To make a storage, you first need to build a shelter and a fireplace.
3. The transport monkey will always follow you. There's no need to do anything.
