• go close to a fireplace and combine a branch with a bark. probably you have to do this several times because the chance of success is only 30%.

For houses you can make a shelter. Make a hammer by combining a branch with a stone.
The only "vehicles" you can actually make is a dugout and a sailraft. You can't make them in the beginning, though.

In version GOLD, the intro map has changed, there were some bug fixes, etc. Nothing extraordinary, methinks.

There is one house you can build (the dark wooden round one)
Most of the other stuff (white house, yacht, plane, etc) isn't buildable on the random maps. They are there for mapping purpose.

You can't expect it in near future. DC has to go to army soon, and for this time he won't be able to program anything. And you can't say what happens after this.

The button with the shiny sheet of paper on it is for generating a map. The window that opens lets you select the size. A random island with the further specified properties is generated.
There is no random generation mode for several islands. If you want to make a group of islands, you'll have to use the normal mapping tools.

BTW, such things can often be found out by just hovering the cursor over the buttons and reading the tooltips.

Is there more than one adventure level? I've done everything I think I can do on what I've played of Adventure Mode so far. I've got my sailraft, hut, well, storage, and all of that other stuff.

If there are more levels, how do I get to them?

How do you lower and raise parts of land individually? My mouse wheel isn't working with the game, if that's what you need to do it. Whenever I left-click, it just paints the floor.
