Late post but this still won't solve the problem. I have already tried this before.

It seems like Linux just ignores permissions when Lua wants to do stuff.

Wait, stupid of me. All this time I already used this to stop other shit before but never stopped to think.

Extend the io. functions and check what file or folder this person is trying to go in. This way you can also protect the auto startup file in which the function is extended and use Lua to stop the CS2D server using quit.

Well, as i told you before, going to get a job and bike license too. And you know i also need to work for Hostinger. The rest of the time going to have a shower and sleep and eat, may workout. Thats requires a day. So only weekend

But on weekend i can work on it. So not really stopped, but less time than before.

DaisukeOno: Of course not. As long you don't host your server on your computer, the server will stay open since it is hosted by a provider or a service.

As i said it's only for linux right now, so better to install to VPS (or dedicated).

Of course you can install this software on any desktop version of linux, which support cs2d.

DaisukeOno: As long as you host your server via your computer (localhost) it will shutdown each time your turn your pc off, you need 24/7 host.
