Why Rusia can give up at the idea that it can't be remake the URSS?
Thug Life: Not Really. The UN(United Nations) can stop WW3, if Russia doesn't cooperate then The UN can just destroy them, just DESTROYING their equipment (like rockets etcetera) 
Why Russia should solve problems of another country? We have our own problems.
It seems as UN should restore order in Ukraine once its government is killing its people - but instead all countries are looking for "scapegoat" - and threaten or impose sanctions to Russia.
If there is a third world war, and even in active form, i'm sure that in the best case, all suffer of it (in Russia is no stranger to break particularly stubborn ridges that climb to us with their orders - Napoleon, Hitler, Birger, ...) at worst on planet Earth will not remain life, except bacteria and viruses.
What you all are and live in their own "separate from all" country, and everyone delves into his shit, no one cares - we have more than 7 billion. A small globe, and if someone farted then all sniff that - in other words problems relate to each one.
Are you an adult man, or whether you're a kid who still live in this world - but all that you do and what is the consequence will happen later, you do for your children (in other words it will be after you)
Will the descendants of spit on your name and kick your corpse (dust) or to recall your memory and history books - it all depends on you and your actions - only you can decide what kind of a person you are - whether indifferent to others or altruist.
So first think, and what you have done to help our neighbor, that we do not kill each other, so there were no wars.
