Set your particles to minimal and then throw smoke/gas grenade. You will see how does it look and you can recreate the same image.
It be same as the color.
effect has a mode called "colorsmoke" which can be used to create such effects.The gas grenade gas colors are random green tones
r: 0-30
g: 100-200
b: 0-30
DC: Yes, I have exactly that effect but as you've already said, the particles of "effect" aren't the same. So I guess I can't find the image. Would it be a lot of work to get this image ? Hmmm I guess so. Well, I'll try to find/get an image that would more or less look like gas grenade particles. Thanks for information.

DC: What you mentioned is considered "different" for me 
I guess I should have said "effects" rather than "particles", I'd use effect too but I can't make them flow outwards, nor can I change the size of them.

Then can you tell us about the rotation, size, and the speed about that gas grenade smoke?
For example the size range.
