The only compromise which would come into question would be to provide the STATIC contents of the website (game descriptions etc.) in other languages. But users would still have to write forum posts or file uploads/comments in German/English only. This would still be a very enormous amount of work and I would also have to find translators whenever I change little parts of the website (which happens frequently). I really dislike that idea so I'm not planning to do that either.
Keep in mind that this is not a huge game publisher website with X people which only work on the website. Be glad that there already are two languages. This is nothing you can expect from a little hobby website! Also everyone who uses the internet should be able to at least understand English.
DC: I think wants you to add more language options in some page that doesn't have a comment box to post on. Like rules page, info, downloading... DevGru: Would still give people the feeling that they can use that language on forum. I hope you finally get my point since I am getting bored. Please think your posts, and ideas, through before posting here. Because you really shouldn't be wasting DC's time with useless ideas. Why should it matter to know how many new posts have been posted? Since you will be directed to the oldest-new (Eh.) post you have not read.

Genius, more like the opposite, people would overuse it and argue over the definition of 'useless'. In the long run it wouldn't really help anyone.
