Anyone here smithing leather armor? It's even better than elven armor though. Also wearing scale helmet, leather armor, leather, leather and leather. Does anyone here even use the forge, smith, grinder and tanning rack?

Leather? Better than Elven? HA HA HA OH WOW.
Leather is for hobos.

• Light Armors (worst -> better)
Hide Armor
Leather Armor          < Sucks.
Studded Armor
Forsworn
Elven Armor          < Rapes leather.
Scaled Armor
Glass Armor
Dragon Scale Armor

• Heavy Armors (worst -> better)
Iron
Imperial
Steel
Steel Plate
Falmer Armor
Ancient Nord
Dwarven
Wolf          < I know that may be wrong, but i don't know where to put it.
Orcish
Ebony
Daedric
Dragonplate

P.S.: I smithed my Elven Armor and it's quite good, has almost as much defense as my friend's Heavy one.

Leather is pretty bad. Unimproved Elven vs. Leather (Fine) is unfair anyway.

----

There is a light armor skill which gives much and much higher armor when it's filled than heavy armor of that tier would do.

----

Btw there is another kind of elven armor; "Light" elven armor. It is dropped by this elvish bountyhunter gang. It has same weight as elven but a bit less armor rating.

----

Smithing can't double your weapon damage. Enchanting and Skills double your damage. Pots maybe. But Smithing only makes weapons.

----

Full elven armor set has a weight of 6 without shield and 10 with shield.

----

That heavy armor skill is like too fucking high level, by the time you get there you've slayed many dragons and couldn't loot their awesomeness due to your suckish heavy armor.

Maybe because I have improve armor when all are light armor since in one of the skills upgrade it has improvement of armor rating if all armor is light armor. Oh well, guess I'll go find one.

Mine's improved too sir, all of the parts are (Superior) or something like it, only the chest part has 80 defense (upgraded+enchantment).

It's not wrong. You can upgrade every single weapon and armor with any smithing level. You don't need a particular level to improve that stuff. Just the ores.

Btw who has downloaded mods for Skyrim yet?

The Mod Creation Kit or whatever they call it didn't released yet.
I'm waiting for a mod that fixes the dragon's camera and add ability to shout, it's actually being organized for development as soon as the creation kit releases.

That's the most far zoom i could do in the camera, and the tail keeps touching it, blocking the vision and etc.

Let'me quote Attack of the Show : "Best thing you can do with Skyrim is uninstall that piece of crap"

Nay, just kidding, but somehow it doesn't match Gothic I, Mainly Because you can't save Half the world throughout the game, then fuck up the entire world twice over at the end.......AGAIN(Failed to deliver the important message at the beginning, and uncovered the Tome mid-game that caused world-wide insanity, well, assuming magic path)

But hey, Skyrim has more mods, more replayability anyone?

In all : Skyrim's Very good, a Large collection of Weapons, Creatures, Skills(Enchantments as well, awesome thing), Spells and magic, as well as excellent graphics and gameplay, Wide range of possibilities as well, also cuts down on that annoying Traveling between towns which will take up more of your time then fighting, also has very little Delivery Quests(Man, i hate these, Go to this town, back here, go there, back here again, finish, here's 500 gold for your wasted time, now go home and die)

The main ammount of Skyrim mods atm are;

- Graphical improvements (Better textures)
- Cheats (Lockpick menu)
- Random stuff (Nude women --)

I'd love to see added villages and all of Tamriel added into Skyrim. :3

Even better : Add that loser Lee from Gothic into Skyrim

Heck, that could make things better, Considering Lee always seems to screw things up(It's amazing he even gets his Monarch status, and even more amazing he keeps it, Well, if you don't screw him up by the end of Gothic III : Forsaken Gods)

Both Oblivion and Skyrim are awesome games, but a thing that i don't understand about Oblivion is that there is fuckillion kilometers of sewers and not a single toilet in the world...

Waiting for a possible Skyrim LAN or Online, whatever Co-op mod, do you guys think it's possible?
