I don't remember exactly what happened before when I was using your bots but,

After they drop their weapon (empty, no ammo), sometimes they go back for it (the empty gun) only to drop it again, eventually giving up on it and running around with a pistol.

Also is it possible to have your bots return fire? Bots are really easy to kill since you know where their going. And only shoot you if they see you.
