I got a pocket watch yesterday and I'm really liking it. You don't meet a lot of people with them nowadays, I'd even say I've seen none at all and I don't understand why not, because pocket watches are awesome. I'd like to ask you lot - do you share my propensity, or rather my weakness?

Meh, digital watches ftw.
Got a Casio one. lol
Resistant to water, has a light that I can use in night, has alarm, displays day of week and mouth and in 2 years even after using it practically everyday it's still working (still haven't bought recharges for it).
And best of all: I got it for free, lolz.

No batteries... just stick it in your pocket... no body power interference (Yes, your own body can drain the battery or just simply short out a wrist watch, I myself have done it.).


If its small, light weight, functioned by gears and not batteries. Then I prefer pocket watches.


Thing is, almost all cellphones have the same feature nowadays...

I've never had a pocket watch before, because not many stores near me sell them.

Other thing is, I have too many damn watches anyway. I have a drawer with about 5 watches at the moment.
