if you do...
use the Wave Edtor to edit SFX!

*repeat 4 all below*select all of the track,
*part 1 ,volume*
then,select volume.
selevt volume change.
pres preview,and then make the volume right.
*part 2,fine-tune*
select (you did select te track,did u?)the EFFECTS menu.
select voice modification.
select the keep trackk checkbox.
now...
set FineTune to 50.
*or,if u edit the soundtrack...
fool around with the FX!*

I need comments on my packs plz. Also, Im announcing a new map by me called cs_broadway. My idea is that it will be based on a typical Broadway-esque theater that is showing something like a CounterStrike: The Musical. The story is that a bunch of Terrorist noobs are pissed that they are making fun of them in a musical so they raid the theater. The hostages will be the actors, and maybe an audience member. Im still deciding on a song to use, and I might add custom gfxes for the hostages maybe. I might change it to a csde_ map instead but I just thought this up. The map would be a theater with another path underground using sewers, but thats all I have thought of so far. Any advice on making this?

I suggest using the official Counter-Strike 1.6 Theme music (the menu theme -- if you need this, I'd be happy to supply it to you). Also, be sure to spend a LOT of time on the map. I wouldn't want such a great idea wasted on a crappy map. Custom tiles are definetly a must, and I recommend NOT just using cs2dnorm.bmp. Make a new tileset -- it'll be easier to simply largely edit existing tiles to your needs (that's usually what I do). Another thing, be sure not to have too many hostages; 4 or 5 will do, but no more. Making the theatre the main part of the map would work great. Be sure to include many obstacles (i.e. chairs, props, decorations, etc.). If your skilled enough, add flashing billboards and such in the front of the theatre. A lobby and main street out front would be the primary CT spawn. Terrorists can start in the back of the theatre, maybe in the alley-ways, and use a sewer entrance, like you said, or the back door to enter the auditorium. A dark below-stage area would be interesting. If your daring, add a catwalk, too. If you plan on adding a bomb objective, Terrorists can bomb the center part of the theatre or the catwalk above the stage (one thing to make sure of is that the hostages are not too near the bombspot, which could result in a memory access violation).

I know I've made a lot of suggestions, but I'm simply brainstorming ideas -- take 'em or leave 'em. If you need, I'd be willing to help a little, especially with gfx. I can show you how to animate flashing light tiles or create for you some custom broadway sprites. In my opinion, the use of sprites and tiles are what make a map. If you can master the use of lighting effects through sprites and the very detailed placement of tiles, I can guarantee you will be greatly satisfied with the results.

I hope I have [more than] sufficiently covered the topic. Now onward to make this great CS2D masterpiece!

edit the music in SFX/ENV called Opera,using Nero Wave Editor,and u can use it as BGM in the theatre!

u can maybe use Reverb,Delay,and Voice Modification...
all together in 1,with the whole music!
(btw...to make it realistic set Fine-Tune to 50,as above!)
