I'm going to have to ask somebody to make me grenade launcher scripts for the P90 & AK-47 which are my MP5 & M4 skins.

Anyone mind helping me out with that?

Its all a matter of opinion my friend.

OLAF is making Black Mesa 2D while we are making Half Life 2D. Ours will included skins of both the original low def version as well as the high def version.

A Half life beta skin pack may also be included some time in the future.

""""""""""""UPDATE""""""""""""" On my packs rate of progress & some new info on it as well.

The Black Mesa Security helmet will be the regular Kevlar with a lua & sprite overlay

The Kevlar & helm will now be the BM Security body armor & helmet also with a sprite overlay via lua.

light armor will now be the HEV Mark 4 suit

armor will now be the HECU PCV vest with backpack (The regular Marine player skins have no PCV vest nor back pack they have to acquire it. With out the PCV they just have the standard camo. uniform & ammo harness)

Medic armor will now be the Medic Marines helmet & backpack+PCV from opposing force.

The stealth suit will be a Black Ops stealth suit & be equipped to the soldier NPCs (if that's possible with lua)

soldier NPC is now Female Black Ops. (Male black ops will be included in the pack as an extra for Opposing Force maps & my planed future mod OP4 2D

Also my HMCU Marines are modeled after the original low def Marines.

Just to let you know ive been making a Black Mesa 2D Since April 2010 im not saying to stop work on yours but be aware that mine exists. O-L-A-f already knows of my mod because he has my beta maps and i think he is using my "We've Got Hostiles" Map in his mod which im fine with.

Yea just an FYI hellfire our Half Life mod predates yours & OLAFs so yea we are making our own original stuff so there really is no need to worry. Our version of half life is the original gold source version with the original low def models & high def models.

Not yet but its probably going to be made via lua. It will be quite some time until we get it working tho since our only dedicated lua scripted is Starkkz If you know lua & are willing to help him out then please feel free to do so.

Very well made starkkz just needs some minor touch ups & Id say its ready for use. The sprite needs to me slightly down sized & the houndeye runs faster than that but other than those 2 minor issues id say its ready to go


EDIT: Also we are going to have to think of a weapons, item, & npc placement lua to help with mapping.

Something like Dark Bytes lua shown here

Well seriously a houndeye can pass through wall better fix that though

its clipping probably due to its size. The problem would be less noticeable if the sprite was downsized.
