I see that there are threads about this, but I don't know if its for 0.1.1.8,

Every time I try making my map it gives me "Access volation" tab that turns off CS2D, Programs that are turned on while I'm making maps are:

VLC media player
Hamachi
BeeThink IP Blocker
Opera Browser
Avast! Anti-virus

Only VLC is not in Try.
Though it doesn't show error immediately, it shows after 3 to 10 minutes after I enter editor.

P.S. That shows only in editor, nowhere else.

If there is already thread about this for 0.1.1.8 version, place link in comment.

Since I did scan 2 days before, but this problems happens every time, Avira doesn't detect anything, I also do every 2 days registry check/fix and temp clean.

I really don't know what the problem is, tried everything that I know (Anti-Virus scan, Registry fix, Temp clean, Process optimize, Net optimize, prefetch clean, Reinstalling cs2d, Killing some unwanted processes,etc..)

Nothing helps, so I though something was wrong in my System that I need to fix, or some check that makes it crash.

Last resort. Reinstall windows. Backup all the files you need and do it. But before that, you should make some research. Try to see whether the same error happens to 0.1.1.7.
If it does then it must be an issue with your PC.

TIP. Use the previous versions' editor to make maps. They should work fine on 0.1.1.8.

It works with 0.1.1.7, I guess I'll make maps with it (Reinstalling windows is bad idea for me, because I got all my programs with bought licenses, some work only 1 time)

Also, I'll try reinstalling sound drivers, my main is Realtek.

Thanks guys.

What the hell? Do you think the Access_Violation_Error is caused by Windows?

Try out the cs2d.com page, there stands an article about this error.

Lol.

disable the map grid in the editor settings, update your system (windows update), your directx and opengl

also try all possible combinations of directx/opengl/win/fullscreen with launcher.exe

it nonsense to re-install windows because of cs2d. and this error is not caused by viruses (I don't know about such a case).

it takes "too long"?
it's a security risk to work with outdated software. especially when talking about the OS. you really should update, no matter how long it takes.

otherwise: get a faster pc or try another windows version.
