CS2D General CS2D Dedicated Server SoftwareSecondly, the point of a router is to route specific packets to specific machines. However most routers only keep a few ports open and block the rest (this goes for incomming and outgoing) In this case you'll have to specify which ports are needed to be forwarded and such.
To connect to it, u must join by ip and type 127.0.0.1: port.

when I try to execute the dedicated server on my vserver i dosent work.
My OS is: OpenSuSe 10.1
I know that i need libX11.so.6 but can someone give me the right file, or the right .rpm Package?

from all other files or running programs as well
secondly i also use SuSe and i didnt need to download any libary but i had to give the cs2d_dedicated file rights to execute
you can do this with chmod or in your control panel search your dedicated file and change the rights .. im pretty sure it doesnt contain execution rights
Edit: well i had both error msgs
no such file... and permission...
the resultion for me was
:1)
execution rights to cs2d_dedicated
2)
i dont run it with ,/cs2d_dedicated ( msg no such file....)
i run it with cs2d_dedicated

Without the chmod right, the error message tells: "v31742:~/SKASERVER/cs2dmax_0105 # ./cs2d_dedicated

I have copied the cs2d_dedicated file into the cs2d folder.
I am shure that i need "libX11.so.6"-file but which is included in some rom packages
more comming soon...

The "libX11.so.6"-file is included in xorg-x11-libX11-7.3-56.1.xxx.rpm packages. But when i am install this package with rpm -ivh xorg-x11-libs-6.9.0-50.54.5.i586.rpm
i get this error messages -.- :

log in as root or w/e, make sure u've set the chmod to 7x7, they at the sharp sign, cd to the directory and execute it by typing ing ./cs2d_dedicated
1)start putty connection to the server
2)cd "name of the cs2dfolder"
3)screen -S name
4)cs2d_dedicated
maybe you will need: ./cs2d_dedicated
thats it
next Ctlr+a+d
exit putty play online
i am very nooby at linux.
in yast i have found a x11 packeage which include the file that i need but i dont know how i can install it.

and ctrl + a + d is very helpful. Especially when you are going to run more then one server.
