G) Read the topic and there is a way to make it stop breaking at all. For some it breaks every time in 5 hits, for me it takes like 500 hits. I didn't modify anything though.
H) Hmm, there are holes in the shell meaning it is not really smart to put water in it
I) Unless my memory is wrong (wich it most likely is) you can tame raptors too. I forgot how though, could have been with bones (lion rock)
I²) It's more like a side gain, spend a week building them and you will have enough food to empty hunger (and most of thirst) daily.
It's a matter of having time for it.

@I) If im correct now you can't tame them, but you can use the editor to modify their behaviour to tame them and be able to ride them.
Dont know for sure if you can tame them ingame though.

Gold nuggets do have a use in game (although a manner one). 10 gold nuggets and a cotton string can be combined into a golden version of the bow. It's damage (according to stranded planet) is slightly higher (1.9 to the bow's 1). It also weighs 3.5 kilos. So unless you can carry a lot it's not worth making.

On cooking, having to toss food at the grill and having it land past or fall through the grill is an exercise in frustration and doesn't add "fun" in any way, why not have the grill work like a container? or "use" it and place the food on it, anything but throwing food at a grill would be a huge improvement.

I love all the new ideas, but I'm finding it rather hard to survive long enough to try any of them out....

@ Yakumo - it is kind of annoying, but, for me at least, as long as you aim it at the grill and it falls sort of close, it cooks

It still doesnt work
it is just a matter of luck if the grill works or not
@veerserif
run it on administrator mode and tell when does this problem occurs?

You will get soft iron, use hammer and make item

Harden it : Lit forge, put items, fill clay bucket with water, use it on forge by clicking right mouse button

Right after the first loading bar - the screen goes black, no logo shows and I get kicked back out.

you didnt completed the forge
you have to hit it with hammer to complete it

A friend of mine cannot launch the game due to this rather unfortunate error. It works completely fine on my PC (Windows XP), but this happens every time on his PC (Vista).

The version previous to this one worked fine, along with the classic Stranded 2. He only gets this error with the latest version.

So far, we've tried;

Multiple complete uninstalls and installs on both PCs, with it working every time on my computer and never once on his. I've tried a clean download, install and launch on his myself to ensure it wasn't a simple mistake on his part.

Launching it normally or launching it as an administrator.

Launching it in compatibility mode.

Launching it through the .bat or .exe

Downloading in on my computer, running it to ensure it works, then transferring it onto his via a flash drive.

And every time the first black screen with the loading bar pops up, completes, then crashes spawning a small window stating "Memory Access Violation".

We haven't made any modifications to the game.

Any ideas on how we could fix this? We'd really like to take the latest version for a spin.
