So imagine, you are on a really lonely island (or somewhere else). Where to get salpeter...? You can't simply go to a rock, which is looking brown and simply extract some sulfur and especially no salpeter, do you know what I mean...?
If you have luck, you find a vulcan with a pit beside it (is it correct in english...? - google suggested this translation....), where you find some gas reaching the surface. Try to imagine in someone like Robinson Crusoe...

(I want to make the possibility to create a explosively barrel. Therefore you just need some planks - which I have already modelled - and some gunpowder to put in.)

And... may I ask you, if these combinations are (halfway!) correct...?

They are correct within reason. If you wanted to get specific, no, they are not correct. But that is only because in reality you would need beakers, fires, distillation equipment, ect, and a bunch of other very precise scientific equipment that you could not produce on an island. However, for the most part the items required are correct. You really can make Nitroglycerin from Nitric Acid and Glycerin, that is how it's made. And Glycerin is made from Sodium Hydroxide and Fat. You can look it up if you want.

The ability to make an explosive barrel is already in my mod. A step ahead of you, eh? New update coming in a few minutes.

A few new changes. If you are *really* smart you'll see them in the change log. Now, we have a *slight* issue. DO NOT BUILD A MINE, WARNING, DO NOT BUILD A MINE. Currently it does absolutely nothing, except cover the valuable ore deposit with a fancy looking building. Until I get that fix and add cool stuff to the mine, DO NOT BUILD ONE. Or else you'll ruin a perfectly good ore deposit.

However, if you really do not care, build away. I think it takes 1 branch. I dunno. I forgot. I've fixed quite a few bugs\errors\glitches\unknown pathogens\and even found a cure for cancer. So you should definitely download this update.

PS: Mc Leaf, gunpowder *is* easy to make. Get some sulphur, charcoal, saltpeter and grind it up in a mortar and pestle. Wala. Gunpowder. It's the other stuff, TNT and Nitroglycerin, that take some serious equipment.

It's really not that amazing. Just a few bug fixes and tweaks, although I did get the mine to work part way. However, as I said it currently does nothing except take up space.

*cough* Alright. Let me see. Grain should be easy to fix. I thought I got it, obviously not. The bottling issue is a simple matter of *adding* a line to the script. Two forging skills, that just keeps on pissing me off. It's happening because I'm trying to use a command to increase the forging skill by different amounts, ie; some items I want to increase it by 5 others 10. However, it's NOT WORKING. *smashes head into desk* It makes *two* forge skills, one "working" skill, the other fake. And I've got no clue why. Scratch that, I know why, but I've got no clue how to fix it without fucking up my entire system. *cries* Then again, maybe it was a lost cause from the beginning...

That water bottle bug is more of an exploit, I'd say. And frankly, it should be easy to fix. Hopefully. Either way, the important part is this: It wasn't caused by me. I'll find out where the script problem is and fix it.

I realize there is currently no way to make new bottles. I'm working on giving the player the ability to make "waterskins" and a few other stuff.

Okaaayyyy... You can also get infinit water from a fountain for your foundation if you build it there, water is as good as solved for any survivor.

Oh and did I mention that the net that you use to catch animals? You can get infinit items from nests, branches, etc. because it does no damage. That can't be fixed can it?
