you answered your own question...What is a dedicated server? "a screen with writing on it" Basically a dedicated server in simple terms is just like a regular server but wtihout you in it and you dont have to ove which means it won't ping timeout. Dedicated server's were found to be more laggier/less reliable than the actual person hosting. It aint that good because sometimes people dont uprate without the server hoster there.

Don't use a dedicated server unless your paying for those professional fast servers.

most dedicated servers are hosted on a tier-based server, these are very fast and are directly connected to the internet, tho CS2D doesn't implement true "dedicated server" server, cs2d max will probably implement it, so it is unclear weather the server will use a script type language or an actual executable

yes thoise are "testing" servers made by a guy like he said he was going to do, It auto kick's at 200 so it keeps it from non laggy but theres a;lways people skipping there.

the dedicated servers are in hosting mode. Wish they would put 4 different maps in stead of 3 difeerent and 1 without fog. But hey ask the storm.pl members if they could change it. It's still in testing mdoe as it says it when you start off.

People dont be stupid when the server kcisk you dont come back complaining god hate noobs who dotn understand the concept.

there really shouldnt be any problems from you. Im in north America just a bit above south America and I can play those dedicated server's.

ForrestG what do you mean by they dont want to give us there? You do know that dedicated servers arent cheap and even if they found a way to get it for free dosnt mean they would have a server in your location thats something you need to understand.

Best thing you can do is make a dedicated server yourself or stop complaining about the servers. Remember the lag has to do with your connection as well so dont go complaining on the servers when some are actually quite decent.

true true, but since sc2d doesnt require that much processor, it is possible to actually run the server on a VPS (which is SOOOO much cheaper XD)
