I used a router to connect 2 computers together recently, when i created a server and looked for my ip,my ip changed to 61.18.70.xx,(the xx is the value changed every second)
i also knowledged something about lan ip(192.168.xx.xx),what's that? And how can i forward (ip?)???

you need to figure out your lan ip's. They will look something like 192.168.x.x.

To find out your lan ip do the following:

start -> run

type "cmd"

in the console window type "ipconfig" then press enter

look for where it says 192.x.x.x. This is your lan ip and what other computers on your network will have to connect to. So say your lan ip is 192.168.0.2. The other computers will have to type in 192.168.0.2 to connect.

yeah I can never create a good server either... most people can't join/see it

i only get like 1 or 2 people and they might not last long (ping timeouts or other reasons)

i think the most ppl i've ever had in a server of mine is 4 (including myself)

Marcio has written
You need add the UDP 36963 port in the router configurations...

how?

alright well you have to access your router's page. In other words you have to get Admin status into your router. www.portforward.com then you have to click on security. and if the box filter NAT ip is check uncheck it. Then try to host the server with the old port you used and it should work. It worked for me because I used to host it on my DSL modem and then my router blocked that connection so I had to unblock while still using my router.

My server is getting bad too.

I have pings over 5000-8000up sometimes it pass 21000up
And after it hits like 52000up it says directly "memory access violation."

I hate that message, I've seen it about thousends times.
it's getting annoying, I hope I have afford a new computer probably never. -.- Lol

Open console and write "net_graph" to see your server up/down ping, etc.

It's very useful nowadays.
